Metas Summer Bridge

The Metas Program at San Jose City College is accepting graduating seniors from local high schools to participate in a summer academic program to prepare for their first year at SJCC.

Metas Summer Bridge is a five-week developmental program that helps students focus on academic rigor and transition to college life.

Students receive an intensive review of pre-algebra or algebra and earn 3 to 5 units of credit.

The math course is linked to College Success 97, a guidance course where student develop strategies to become responsible and active learner.

Additional services include academic counseling, peer tutoring, reading and writing refresher workshops.

Metas Summer Bridge starts June 25 and ends July 26. Enrollment fee is $46 per unit for all SJCC courses. Limited space is available for Metas Summer Bridge.
